Achievements

dramalab’s outstanding achievements include
· Presenting The Storyteller at Malaysia Fest 1996.
· Talking AIDS being awarded Malaysian AIDS Foundation’s Red Ribbon Media Award in 1998.
· Performing Gold Rain and Hailstones at the Penang Arts Festival in 1998.
· Jit Murad’s Spilt Gravy on Rice receiving four awards at the inaugural Cameronian Arts Award 2003 including the Audience Choice Award for Theatre.
· The Smell of Language, written by Huzir Sulaiman, directed by Krishen Jit & actor Zahim Albakri, has won Best Director & Best Solo Performance on the Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2004.
· The collaboration project with Singapore The Necessary Stage theatre company - Separation 40 received Best Director, Best Ensemble (group performance) & Best Theatre Performance from the Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2005. Written by Jit Murad & Haresh Sharma, directed by Alvin Tan & Zahim Albakri, performers include Syed Zalihafe, Soefira Jaafar, Yeo Yann Yann, Chua Enlai and Alin Mosbit.
· The collaboration with Australian Playwright/Director Adam Adam Broinowski, Know No Cure received 3 nominations at the 6th Boh Cameronian Arts Awards 2007.
· Tarap Man, the joint production between Kualiworks and Dramalab won the Best Original English Script award at the 6th Boh Cameronian Arts Awards 2007.
